Kevin Itima began his real estate career in 2012 and joined the Root team in 2018. Before relocating to Chicago, he managed a real estate investment firm in Houston and Atlanta, cutting his teeth on new construction and value-add multifamily acquisitions. At Root, he uses his intimate knowledge of real estate investing to help advise owners and buyers on practical and pragmatic strategies based on their overall goals. As Director of Sales, he manages the brokerage sales team and comprehensive sales system. He received his Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Houston and completed his Commercial Real Estate Analysis and Investment Certificate from The MIT School of Architecture and Planning.
